Description:

Admissions Clerks are the front-line staff for the Admissions office. These student employees provide the highest caliber of customer service in answering phone calls and assisting customers at the front desk. They accurately process documents and do data entry in an efficient manner, and act as a knowledgeable resource for other members of the campus community.

Duties and Responsibilities are as follows:

  1. Provide superior service in person, phone, and email
  2. Support recruitment efforts with mailings, email, phone, etc.
  3. Process applications for admission
  4. Enter high school transcripts and other data into multiple computer systems;
  5. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Accurate data entry
  • Excellent critical thinking skills with special attention to detail
  • Dependability, reliability, and ability to focus on assignments
  • Ability to learn quickly, multitask, and work in a demanding, stressful environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, faculty, and community members in person, over the phone, and in writing
  • Superior customer service skills
